“Over all the editions of this text, the authors have produced a near perfect balance of ‘not too simple, not too complex’.” The content areas are of sufficient depth for undergraduate students to be challenged, but not unduly overwhelmed.”-Michael Blomgren, Associate Professor, University of Utah

I am just barely begining to use this textbook in my speech pathology courses, but I do have one major complaint. The software, Anatesse, and studywares are not mac compatible. I was able to get the studywares cd to work on my mac by testing it out on a trial version of crossover mac, but the anatesse only shows the uninstall file….. Very annoying. No where on any of the info does it say what operating system is required. In addition on of my classmates is having issues running it on vista as well…. Fortunatly Seikel the main author is the head of the department I am in so I will be able to complain to someone…..

Very well written book with tons of diagrams and tables to referenc. My favorite is the end of section and chapter summary. Also a nice plus it the CD and Chapter reviews to study.

Really good book for a textbook. Helps a lot with understanding concepts!! Great pictures to help as well. I plan on keeping this book for the rest of my schooling instead of selling it back like I do most textbooks.
