S. E. Lackey Convalescent Home is part of the Lackey Memorial Hospital campus located in Forest, Mississippi. It is a long-term, residential health care facility that provides skilled nursing care in an atmosphere of respect and concern for each individual resident. The Nursing Home was opened in 1963 and is operated by Lackey Memorial Hospital, managed by Independent Healthcare Management, Inc. Our facility serves 30 men and women who require individualized care and skilled nursing services. Services Residents have access to medical, dental, podiatric and rehabilitation services. Attending physicians provide on-site diagnoses and treatment. Consultations with medical specialists are also arranged when indicated. Nursing Services Skilled nursing services are provided to each resident as determined by his or her medical condition. The facility provides for the total needs of the residents, as well as skilled respiratory care treatments, wound care, intravenous fluids and medication management. Recreation Residents are encouraged to take advantage of a variety of stimulating activities offered throughout the day, evenings and on weekends. Our recreation program includes special events, music, games, socials and entertainment. Eligibility Admission to S. E. Lackey Convalescent Home is open to anyone who will benefit from our services.
