I am a college student and have relied on this textbook especially when writing a paper or studying for an exam. The chapters are very detailed from symptoms to diagnosis as well as treatments and life expectancy in some cases. I use this text more than my medical dictionary. A must have for anyone in medicine.

I really like having this book in paper. My school offers it online but I like having it to look at, highlight it etc. It’s bigger than I realized (3″ thick) but it provides a great overview of the disease process and treatment options. Very helpful as a new NP.

Jack Lange was a very good friend of mine, from the time of my post-graduate studies in the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center and I’m very happy to see the series of LANGE Books to be in the first line of Medical Education and Medical Practice. Current Medical Diagnosis and Treatment, by Maxine Papadakis et. all is an excellent text-book for specialties MD, as well as for Medical students. As a Professor of Medicine in the University of Athens, I strongly recommend it for their studies.
