Let me just start by saying that Pharmacology has consistently been my weakest subject. I’ve always had a VERY hard time keeping names straight, side effects together, and just… generally really struggle with the subject. After taking a Pharm shelf exam I realized that I REALLY needed help with this- and one of my classmates recommended I pick these cards up.
I can finally say: I feel like I’m understanding Pharmacology. My score on the USMLE Word Q bank Pharmacology has shot up DRAMATICALLY since I started these cards. They break everything down in ‘Need to know’ format using clinical vignettes that are just long enough to get the points across.
I LOVE these cards. Thanks to them, I’m feeling confident about my board exam…. in two days.
On a side note- There are a few typos but they really didn’t subtract from the information.
I have found it very helpful to prepare for my MCCEE Canadian Examination. The author has been to the point and although the questions are 200 but there are many inbuilt questions within each question and so it makes the revision of all important and essential components of Pharmacology and Treatment very easy. This can be used not only in finals but also in Step 1, Step 2 CK , PLAB and in fact any examination or even to update your knowledge and to consolidate and strenghten it. I was categorize it as an excellent buy.
