In the 10th edition of Psychology in Action, Author Karen Huffman redefines and refocuses her message of “active learning”. This is reflected as “Student Engagement through Active Participation”. All in-text pedagogy (including the new MythBuster box) are subsumed under this big category making it easier for reps to concretely demonstrate this theme.
I am glad I had this book downloaded to my kindle it was cheaper and way more convenient that the hard copy. I will diffitely do this again for another book next semester.
For some reason I thought it would come with the Wiley Plus code but it doesn’t say that it does anywhere. If you’re buying this just be aware that it does not come with the code. Besides that the book was flawless, very pleased.
What a great textbook, pretty informative and covers broad spectrum of psych topics, near halfway through book and have sofar learned about stress, the nervous system, fields of psych, and consciousness. Fascinating.
I had to us this textbook a lot since my professor gave many open book take home exams. You could tell the book is not brand new, the crease was a little loose and also no pages were missing however some pages were bent and marked but if you want a book at a good price to get your work done, this is the book for you. I would say I’m pretty basic so I found this book to be great for me.
Book shipped fast and is in new condition. book related information correctly to class discussion. didnt come with wiley access card but very helpfulI. I do recommend the study guide for first time students.
